VGT PORTUGAL is in the market to export fresh vegetables and its goal is to consolidate its leadership in the production and commercialization of fresh vegetables. It has an agro-industry unit in operation, an investment entirely made with its own capital in 2010. This industrial unit has the capacity to store in cold about 800 tons of product to market.
VGT PORTUGAL presents an agricultural production unit, the Agricultural Production Cooperative Mouchão do Inglês, with 360 ha, located in Alpiarça, this unit being its main source of production.
This is the result of a partnership and sharing of know-how with the company Frishorta - Comércio de Produtos Agrícolas, Lda, in the exploration of the unit.
We produce and sell heart cabbage, purple heart cabbage, savoy, red cabbage, white cabbage, butternut squash, hokkaido squash, musquee squash, long squash and leek.
The rest of the area is contracted to producer organizations and producers in the Algarve, West and Lisboa and Vale do Tejo regions, always under the supervision technical and responsibility of VGT PORTUGAL.
